True vintage brown zip-up jacket with incredible character. Cropped, boxy cut with pointed collar, slanted welt pockets, button tab cuffs and gathered hem sides. The zipper pull is marked CROWN, a brand used from roughly the 1930s to the 1960s, so this is likely 1940s-50s. No care or brand tag. Smooth, soft, slightly suede-like cotton-feel fabric (composition unconfirmed) that is very lightweight, perfect as a fall jacket or layering piece.
Beautiful honest wear: heavy sun-faded patina, hand-sewn patch repair on the upper left sleeve, visible repair stitching beside the zip and great texture throughout.
